Use the Before I Go Method to create your End of Life Plan in 5 straightforward modules - without losing focus, getting overwhelmed or giving up!
What's more, I have created this course so that you can have some fun along the way, even though it's about a subject many families find a bit morbid, or even taboo.
But it IS possible to enjoy yourself doing this kind of thing - because let's face it, we can't have life without death, they are inextricably intertwined.
And when you are willing to face up to the fact it will end, the lovely bonus is that you discover that your life right now becomes even more full of vitality and oomph :)
Plus, of course, there is that wonderful relief and peace of mind that getting your plan done brings. Not to be underestimated, especially in these days.
Lessening the Household Headaches
In this module, you will be learning about areas of end-of-life planning that most people don't even think about, let alone take action in. But here you are, taking action, so let's just acknowledge that!
By the end of this module, you will be amazed at what you've attended to in terms of apparently little things, that cause a huge amount of upset if they are not taken care of beforehand.
Your Life and Death Values
This module is all about you considering what matters most to you about both life and death, and why knowing what your values are is essential when it comes to contemplating the end of your life.
This is all so that you can create your Advance Directive (living will) which you will have started (if not finished) by the end of this module.
If you weren’t here, then how would anyone know who to contact if you had died yesterday?
In this module, you'll find out:
You'll also get going in a methodical manner on an easy way to sort your finances so your relatives or friends are not tearing their hair out, having to put their hand in their own pockets to pay for your funeral, or discovering unknown bank accounts years later. (Or worse, knowing they exist but being unable to ever access them - it does happen!)
In this module you will discover what to do when there is a dead body to be taken care of, and what constitutes a good funeral, which will enable you to decide whether you want one or not.
The photo above is of my friend Don, who had his coffin decorated in advance of his death by his many friends. See his story in one of the lessons.
In this module, you choose which lessons you take, as it all depends on the choices you have already made, or are making. So take a look and note for yourself the ones that would be useful, and just ignore the rest.
HOWEVER...
I highly suggest that even if you think you know what you want, explore the other options. You don't know what you don't know, that might inform your decision making.
For instance, my Mum had a funeral plan already paid for, from years previously. When we looked at it together, what she had paid for was no longer what she wanted.
Even with paying an administration fee to terminate that plan, it was going to be more sensible financially to do that, and pay instead for what she did want. Which is what I helped her organise.
